Setting up your SAKI Turkish Coffee Maker is designed to be as seamless as the ritual itself. Here is how to get started for the first time:

1. Unbox and Clean

Before your first brew, ensure the unit is ready for a "pure flavor" experience:

  • The Cezve (Pot): Remove the stainless steel cezve and wash it. Since it is 100% stainless steel and dishwasher-safe, you can pop it in the dishwasher or wash it by hand with mild soap and warm water.
  • The Base: Wipe the matte black power base with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not submerge the base or the electrical cord in water.

2. Placement

  • Place the power base on a flat, dry, and stable surface.
  • Ensure it is away from any edges or other heat sources. The minimalist design is meant to be seen, so find a spot where you can enjoy the "Open Form" view.

3. Power On

  • Plug the 120V power cord into a standard outlet.
  • The smart sensors (PureSense™ and overspill sensors) will initialize. Ensure the sensor area on the base is clean and free of any debris or packaging materials.

4. The "Prime" Brew (Optional but Recommended)

To ensure the system is fully rinsed and ready:

  • Fill the cezve with water up to the maximum limit (do not add coffee yet).
  • Place the cezve on the base and press the One-Touch button.
  • Once the cycle is complete and the machine signals it’s finished, discard the water. Your maker is now primed and ready for your first real cup.

5. Brewing Your First Cup

  • Add Coffee: Use the measuring spoon to add finely ground Turkish coffee to the cezve.
  • Add Water & Sugar: Add room-temperature water (and sugar if desired) according to the number of cups.
  • One-Touch Magic: Place the pot on the base and press the button once. The SandBrew™ technology will take over, and the Peak Foam Detection will ensure the perfect rise without you having to "babysit" the stove.

Pro Tip: Because of the PureSense™ sensor protection, you can watch the foam rise and smell the aroma without worrying about steam interfering with the machine's timing. Once the machine beeps, your coffee is ready to be served!
