The PureSense™ technology is a proprietary sensor-based protection system that serves as the "brain" of the SAKI Turkish Coffee Maker. Its primary job is to act as a shield between the brewing process and the high-precision sensors to ensure they never lose accuracy.
Here is how it prevents overflows in real-time:
1. Steam Shielding
In traditional electric coffee makers, steam from the rising coffee can often cloud the sensors. When a sensor is "blinded" by steam, it might miss the moment the foam reaches the top, leading to a boil-over. PureSense™ creates a protected path for the sensing beam, ensuring it stays clear of steam interference so the reading remains accurate from the first bubble to the final rise.
2. Real-Time Foam Tracking
While PureSense™ keeps the path clear, the Peak Foam Detection sensor works within that clear path to monitor the expansion of the coffee.
-
It tracks the physical height of the foam as it climbs the stainless steel cezve.
-
The moment the foam reaches its maximum "peak" (just before it would spill over), the system sends an instant signal to the induction base.
3. Instant Heat Cut-off
Because the machine uses induction heating, the thermal response is nearly instantaneous. Once PureSense™ and the foam sensors confirm the peak has been reached:
-
The machine cuts all power to the induction coil.
-
Unlike a stovetop, which retains residual heat, the induction process stops the cooking immediately, causing the foam to stabilize and "lock in" rather than continue rising.
The Role of the Grind
For PureSense™ to work at its absolute best, the foam needs to have a consistent structure. Using an ultra-fine, powdery grind (40–220 microns) creates the dense, uniform bubbles that the sensors are calibrated to track.
SAKI Traditional Turkish Coffee is ground to this exact specification. By using SAKI's own coffee, you ensure the sensors get a "clean read" every time, virtually eliminating the risk of accidental overflows.
If you ever find that the machine stops too early or late, a quick wipe of the PureSense™ bridge with a dry cloth will restore its "sight."
