Saki Turkish Coffee Maker Unboxing: Full Technical Breakdown by Our Product Director
What exactly comes with the Saki Turkish Coffee Maker, and how does it actually work? In this video, Saki Product Director Arda Deveci opens the box and walks through every component: the all-stainless cezve, the measuring spoon, the coffee that ships in every box, and the machine itself.
Beyond the unboxing, it’s a full technical breakdown. You’ll see why the machine has an open form and a single button, how the PureSense™ vent keeps steam off the sensors so they can follow the foam and stop the heat before overspill, and why induction heating earned the SandBrew name.
The finest Turkish coffee in the world is brewed in heated sand. We spent 3 years engineering that experience to your countertop.

In the Video, Moment by Moment
1 Plastic-Free Packaging 0:21
The packaging got a lot of attention. We worked closely with our packaging engineer to remove all plastic while keeping everything protected and scratch-free on the way to you.
2 Manual and Fresh Club Card 0:40
First out of the box: the user manual with a quick start guide for setup and brewing, plus your Fresh Club card. Text us and we send you freshly roasted coffee every week.
3 The Cezve 0:52
This is where you really see our standards. The pot is 304 grade stainless steel with no plastic anywhere, so it’s fully dishwasher safe. Two spouts, one on each side, mean the pour angle works the same whether you’re left-handed or right-handed. It holds 350 ml, about five Turkish coffee cups.
4 The Measuring Spoon 1:23
Designed so you don’t have to measure every time: one scoop is 7 grams, enough for one cup. The Turkish coffee ratio is 7 grams of coffee for 70 milliliters of water.
5 Coffee in Every Box 1:40
Every machine ships with freshly roasted Saki Turkish Coffee. We roast at our California roastery and place the bag in the box before each order goes out, so you don’t have to hunt for the right coffee just to start using your machine.
6 Open Design, One Button 2:10
The open form was one of the first decisions we made. For centuries, Turkish coffee has been brewed in an open pot: you watch the foam rise and you stay with it. And there’s only one button for everything. We started with a digital screen for temperature and brew profiles, but the more we tested, the more it felt overcomplicated, so we took the screen out and put that engineering into the sensors instead.
7 PureSense and SandBrew Induction 2:46
The air vent is what we call PureSense™. It keeps steam away so the sensors always get an accurate read. That’s how the machine follows the foam, knows when to stop the heat, and prevents overspill. We chose induction because it distributes heat evenly, similar to how sand heats the pot from all surfaces. That’s where the name SandBrew comes from.
8 The First Brew 3:11
Cold water to the line. One scoop per cup. Press the button. Everything you need is right in the box: 500 years of tradition brought to your countertop.
