
1. Determine if you need calibration.
If you live at a high elevation (typically over 2,000 ft), water boils at a lower temperature than 212°F. Without calibration, your kettle might try to reach a temperature it physically cannot hit, causing it to run continuously.
2. Enter the settings menu.
With the screen on, press and hold the dial for about 3 seconds (or until the menu options appear).
3. Adjust the altitude setting.
- Rotate the dial to scroll to the "Altitude" or "Calibration" option.
- Press to select it.
- Turn the dial again to input your current altitude or manually set the boiling point (e.g., set the max boil to 208°F).
4. Save your settings.
Press the dial one last time to confirm. Your Luna will now recognize this new boiling point as "100%" and shut off automatically when it reaches it.
