Cleaning the Magnetic Infuser is straightforward due to its detachable, stainless steel design. Keeping it clean ensures that tea oils do not build up, which can eventually affect the flavor of your brew.

Daily Cleaning

  1. Detach: Simply pull the stainless steel mesh filter away from the magnetic attachment point on the lid.
  2. Empty: Dispose of the used tea leaves.
  3. Rinse: Rinse the mesh filter under warm running water. The lid-integrated design makes it easy to reach all parts of the filter.
  4. Dry: Allow the filter and lid to air dry before reattaching them for the next use.

Deep Cleaning

If you notice tea stains or a slight film from tea oils:

  • Soap and Water: Use a mild dish soap and a soft sponge to clean the mesh. Avoid using abrasive scrubbers that could damage the fine steel mesh.
  • Dishwasher Safe: The stainless steel infuser basket itself is dishwasher safe. However, it is generally recommended to hand wash the lid to preserve the integrity of the magnetic component over time.
  • Baking Soda Soak: For stubborn stains, soak the mesh filter in a mixture of warm water and a tablespoon of baking soda for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Care Tips

  • Magnet Maintenance: Occasionally wipe the magnetic contact point on the underside of the lid with a damp cloth to ensure there is no residue interfering with the connection.
  • Avoid Chemicals: Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals, as these can linger in the mesh and affect the taste of your tea.
