Coffee Ground for the Cezve
Turkish coffee starts with the grind: finer than espresso, so the coffee itself becomes part of the cup. Traditional Turkish Coffee is roasted and ground for that preparation, ready for the cezve or the Turkish Coffee Maker. Dibek Coffee is the softer cousin: a creamier, rounder style for drinkers who find the classic too sharp.
Store it airtight, brew it slow, and let the foam do the talking. If you are choosing between the two, start with the classic and let the reviews guide you from there.

It's a shame that so many coffee experts and influencers don't care for unfiltered Turkish coffee. So many of them translate that to meaning Turkish coffee can't be enjoyed using specialty coffee. That's nonsense. Saki Traditional is the first time I found a pre-ground Turkish coffee that blows away the misconceptions of (1) specialty coffee has no business in a cezve, and (2) specialty coffee can't be pre-ground. While I have beans and grinders that can do a powder grind, there are times I want my coffee with minimum effort. The coffee comes in a very nice bag with a valve to keep it fresher longer, although I also use a specific canister as well. Knowing the coffee is single origin and knowing its roasting date are big plusses. I will reorder.

I may not want to drink a different way of brewing coffee ever again. I love Turkish coffee but shy away from grinding my own this fine. So I tried a bag. It brewed to absolute perfection. The best I’ve been able to make in my own home. Thank you, Saki, for your attention to detail. Ordering was so easy and the coffee is delightful.

Okay wow, first of all I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited to write a review. Second of all, this coffee is a home run on the first try. I think many of us who enjoy Turkish coffee in the U.S. are generally stuck with whatever options we have off the shelf, Saki is here to change that and you all should be excited and and relived that Saki is here. Super happy super excited for all of the wonderful tastes that we are about to enjoy.

Excellent quality, medium roast. Fine grind, suitable for "ibrik" method, i.e., traditional Turkish preparation method. Final result definitely better than with many of the coffees available in Middle Eastern grocery stores. Out of curiosity, and despite a fine grind, try the pour-over method.
