The SAKI Turkish Coffee Maker uses a simple light and sound interface to let you know exactly what’s happening during the brewing process. Here is how to interpret the signals:
Light Indicators
- Solid White Light (Standby): The machine is powered on and ready to go.
- Pulsing/Breathing Light (Brewing): The SandBrew™ cycle is active. This indicates the machine is applying gentle heat to build the foam slowly.
-
Flashing Red Light (Warning/Error): This usually triggers one of the safety sensors:
- Empty Cup Detection: No water was detected in the cezve.
- Overspill Sensor: Foam has risen too high, or the sensors are obstructed.
- PureSense™ Alert: The sensing path might be blocked by excessive steam or residue.
Sound Indicators
- Single Beep (Startup/Confirmation): Sounds when you press the button to start the one-touch brewing process.
- Series of Beeps (Brew Complete): The Peak Foam Detection has successfully identified the maximum foam rise and has automatically cut the heat. Your coffee is ready to serve.
- Rapid Beeping (Error/Alert): Accompanies the red flashing light to notify you that the brewing has stopped for safety reasons (e.g., the pot is empty or there's a risk of boil-over).
Quick Troubleshooting Tips
- If you see red lights: Check if the stainless steel pot is correctly seated on the base or if you forgot to add water.
- Sensor maintenance: If the indicators seem off, ensure the PureSense™ area (near the top of the brewing chamber) is clean. Since it's an "Open Form" design, sometimes a quick wipe with a soft cloth is all it needs to stay accurate.
