Making a roast chicken is not a difficult job but it requires a lot of time when made in the oven and what is worse is that the result is not always guaranteed. Sometimes, people try to boil the whole chicken in a pressure cooker or instant pot before roasting with a wish to ensure a tender and juicy meat at the end but this method adds some stew texture and decreases the roast chicken pleasure.
Air fryers, on the other hand, are very useful in making a whole roast chicken. The hot air circulation in the air fryer guarantees a well cooked, tender and juicy texture in a shorter time. While you need 90 to 120 minutes to roast a whole chicken in the oven, air fryers will do the same job in 60 minutes at most and you will never need to boil the chicken.
